Sorry for disappearing!

Monday, September 1, 2014

Sorry for disappearing for a while. Unfortunately, I have been super busy with my sister's wedding (can't believe it's already this weekend!). And then there's this...

We're so excited to be expecting baby number 2 but I have unfortunately been diagnosed with hypermesis gravidarum (aka extreme morning sickness) this time around. I thought I was sick with Carl... now I know I really had no idea what morning sickness was! I am hoping that in the next couple of weeks things will improve. They've gotten a little bit better in the past week. I've been extremely lucky to have a super supportive husband and family who have stepped in to take care of Carl on the days I physically haven't been able to. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to get this back up and going again soon! Thanks for understanding!!

10 Helpful Websites for Toddler Meal Ideas

Anyone that has spent the day with Carl knows that he is a super picky eater. We introduced him to all sorts of foods early on that I made from scratch (all except pureed meat, I could never get the texture right). So when he started to eat table foods, it became very frustrating when he refused everything. I read countless articles on how to get your child to eat a variety of healthy and nutritious foods, and yet none of their suggestions have helped Carl become an adventurous eater (actually, I’d settle for an average eater).
