Spring Book 3: Frog and Toad

Today I will be sharing free resources to go with Frog and Toad Together. I love the Frog and Toad stories. The lovable characters are a great example of friendship. If your students or children fall in love with Frog and Toad, there are so many more great stories for them to read. How have you taught Frog and Toad stories in your classroom? Which story is your favorite?

Ages: 4-8
Topics:  friendship, flowers, cookies, bravery

Worksheets and Activities

The plans include multiple activities including a great math activity.

The kit includes: concentration game, board game, writing prompt, and beginning/middle/end worksheet.

Frog and Toad Puppets from Bed Rested Teacher
I found a few puppets online but felt that it was not parent/teacher ready so I created this printable so that you could easily create puppets to use with the story.

My inspiration came from:

Frog and Toad Plates from First Grade a la Carte

Frog and Toad Puppets from Bed Rested Teacher
I created the parts to the puppet to make it easier for younger children to make the puppet themselves (rather than you a parent making and cutting all of the arms, shirts, eyes, etc.).
Here are 2 finished examples that inspired my puppet:
